In order to invest and construct solar energy generation project of Shanghai Hongqiao high-speed rail, approved by China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation and wholly invested by China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation (later invested by CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd), we registered and established CECEP (Shanghai) Solar Energy Generation Co., Ltd. in Shanghai with the initial registered capital of 10,000,000 Yuan and later capital increment of 33,000,000 Yuan. The main business of the company is to invest, construct, maintain, operate and manage solar energy generation project and produce and sell solar energy generation; provide solar energy generation plan, technology R&D and design consultation and operation maintenance service; manufacture generation system devices and so on. It is the Operating Company for Professional Solar Energy Generation Investment that subordinates to CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd..
ECEP (Shanghai) Solar Energy Generation Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established on September 7, 2009. Solar energy generation project of Shanghai Hongqiao high-speed rail invested and constructed by the company has gain the approval of Shanghai Development and Reform Commission on November 24, 2009 and officially starts grid-connected generation on June 28, 2010. Its total installed capacity is 6.69 megawatts, and is the monocase building integrated PV project with the world largest installed capacity.
The company also cooperates with Shanghai Airport Authority to develop solar energy generation project of Hongqiao airport freight station, and the estimated installed capacity is 3 megawatts with annual generation energy of 2,800,000 watt-hours. This project is the first large building integrated PV project in the field of Chinese civil aviation.
