CECEP Dongtai solar energy PV power station project in intertidal zone is the biggest PV power station in intertidal zone in China. Its construction scale at initial stage is 60MW with the total investment of about 1,000,000,000 Yuan. After construction, it will realize the annual generated electricity amount of 72,000,000 watt-hours and reduce 30,000 tons of standard coal and reduce emission of carbon dioxide up to about 100,000 tons. The first phase of the project is 30MW and covers an area of 1100 mu of intertidal zone , and the second phase of the project is 30WM and covers an area of 1000 mu of intertidal zone, among which 50MW is fixed dip angle mode and 10MW is self-adaption tracking mode. This project is invested and constructed by the CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. subordinated to China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group.
CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is the wholly-owned subsidiary of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, which is the unique central enterprise (directly under SASAC of the State Council) that takes energy saving and emission reduction and environmental protection as its major works. The Group entered into the PV generation industry in 2008 and established CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in 2009, which is specially dedicated to study, develop, invest, and apply solar energy technology, and construct PV power stations on a global scale.
CECEP Dongtai solar energy PV power station project in intertidal zone is invested and constructed by CECEP by implementing the State’s strategy on accelerating solar energy utilization and getting support from Jiangsu Province’s policy on accelerating development of PV industry . The construction of project was divided into two phases, the first phase 30MW project started construction in September, 2011, and the second phase 30MW project started construction in November, 2011, which are designed by Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institute and respectively contracted by Zhenfa New Energy Company and Rayspower New Energy Co., Ltd.. With the consideration and help of Jiangsu Province, Yancheng city, governments at all levels and functional departments of Dongtai city, this project was carried out smoothly and will officially complete grid connection at the end of December, 2011. The construction of the project will greatly promote the development of CECEP PV cause and Jiangsu PV industry and contribute to the Jiangsu coastal development.
