On August 4, 2013 at 13:18, CECEP Hanchuan 10MW PV Agricultural Technological Shed Synchronized Power Generation Project started operation.
Covering an area of 500 mu and with an investment of RMB 200 million by CECEP Solar Energy Company, the Project was approved by Hubei Development and Reform Commission on September 20, 2012, launched on October 4, 2012 and completed and accepted on July 30, 2013.
The first PV agricultural project in Hubei, the Project had to explore in terms of approval, verification and record keeping, and suffered difficulties and complexity in communication and coordination with local functional departments. Thanks to the great support from CECEP and its Solar Energy Company as well as the efforts made by all staff from Central China Region and coordination with Xiaogan Electricity Company and Central China Grid Company Limited, the Project eventually succeeded in power generation.
During the 300-odd day construction, all staff of the Central China Region spared no efforts to coordinate with local governmental departments, the general contractor and electricity company, solve various difficulties in construction, strictly control the quality of in civil engineering, electricity and agriculture projects, consideration of every detail, go through numerous approval procedures, and coordinate with Xiaogan Electricity Company, Central China Grid Company Limited and provincial and municipal price bureaus.
Currently, completed projects of the Central China Region of Solar Energy Company include Wuhan Railway Station 2.2MW Power Generation project and Hanchuan 10MW PV Agricultural Technological Shed Synchronized Power Generation Project. The Project is a breakthrough in the field of PV and has great significance in the Company’s strategic adjustment and transformation. Success of the Project further builds up the influence of CECEP in local government and the public, and fills the blank in the area of PV agricultural technological shed of Hubei Province. It has far-reaching significance in the new energy development and urbanization in Hubei.
