During his inspection of the education and practice of the Party’s mass line in Jiangsu, Zhang Dejiang, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Political Bureau and Chairman of NPC Standing Committee, visited on July 13 at 11:00 am the Wind Power-PV-Fishery Base of Dongtai Solar Energy Company of CECEP. Also present were Luo Zhijun, Secretary of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Li Xueyong, Governor of Jiangsu and Zhu Kejiang, Secretary of CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee.
Vice General Manager Liu Hui of Dongtai Company briefed the visitors on the status of CECEP and its Solar Energy Company, and gave a detailed report on the construction and operation of Dongtai Project.
Zhang Dejiang highly appreciated the new mode combining wind power, PV power generation and fishery. He said this was a multidimensional development mode that made maximum use of spaces and resources. He pointed out that efforts should be made to adjust resource structure and promote development of new energy during the 12th Five-year Plan period. Solar power as a major new energy is clean and inexhaustible. It is efficient in conversion, simple to use, reliable and economical, and is the consequence of future development of new energy. The Wind Power-PV-Fishery mode of Dongtai Company to a certain extend maximizes the result of low-carbon and emission reduction, reduces emission of several hazardous and waste gases, and is a good sample for adjustment of the structure of energy consumption.
