CECEP’s Solar Energy Company successfully held the 1st Scientific and Technological Management Training Conference and the Mid-term Symposium on Standardization in Zhenjiang of Jiangsu Province from June 17 to 19, 2013. The conference attracted more than 70 attendees including Song Aizhen, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Company, Huang Yaping, Vice Director of the R&D Division of the Scientific and Technological Management Department of CECEP, members from related departments, sci-tech leaders of subsidiaries, technicians, and safe production managers of the Company.
Xu Ning, head of domestic business from Jeekai & Partners delivered a lecture on IPR, and Huang Yaping provided the training on management and use of scientific research funds. The conference was successfully concluded with satisfactory results.
From the perspective of sci-tech innovation and management system and process as well as major sci-tech innovation, Song Aizhen made a report on the Company’s sci-tech progress since its establishment. She concluded the achievements made in successful certification of a high-tech enterprise, establishment of sci-tech platform, submission of academic subjects, participation in developing national standards, winning of IPR and product certification, and commercialization of R&D results. The report in a practical manner analyzed the significance of sci-tech innovation and current weaknesses, put forward four requirements on sci-tech innovation and defined the strategic philosophy of the Company. She pointed out that in its sci-tech efforts, the Company should integrate both domestic and foreign advantageous resources, combine production, study and research, accelerate building of both soft and hard research facilities, rapidly achieve practical research results, improve sci-tech management, optimize sci-tech management structure, and constantly upgrade sci-tech management level. She said the Company should meet the following requirements: First, strengthen awareness of the significance of sci-tech works; Second, reinforce organization and leadership and improve the system and mechanism; Third, enhance talent training and speed up the output of sci-tech results; Fourth, make good use of the training in future sci-tech researches.
The conference highlighted sci-tech innovation as the strategy of the Company, and provided guidance on upgrading the overall sci-tech innovation of the Company, further consolidating the awareness of IPR protection and IPR application of the Company and its subsidiaries, and regulating the use of research funds.
The training on equipment inspection and manufacturing and safe production was also held at the same time.
