From June 10 to 13, 2013, the “2013 China Qinghai Green Economy Investment and Trade Fair” (the Green Fair) was held in Xining. Ma Peihua, CPPCC National Committee Vice Chairman, Luo Huining, Secretary of CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Qinghai, Hao Peng, Vice Secretary of CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee and Governor of Qinghai, and Xu Fushun, Vice Director of SASAC of the State Council attended the Green Fair. CECEP General Manager Wang Tongzhou led a delegation including CECEP Vice General Manager Chen Shuguang, Board Chairman Li Shusheng of CECEP’s Wind Power Company, Vice General Manager Dong Biao of CECEP’s Solar Energy Company, Vice General Manager Tao Yinhai of CECEP’s Wind Power Company, and Du Hu, head of the Northwestern Region of CECEP’s Solar Energy Company to participate in the Green Fair.
After the signing ceremony, Luo Yulin, Executive Vice Governor of Qinghai, communicated with Mr. Wang Tongzhou on further cooperation. Mr. Luo spoke highly of CECEP’s achievements in energy conservation, environmental protection and new energy development. He said that in recent years, Qinghai has made great efforts to build the eco-barrier of the country, deeply implement the strategy of ecological development of province, actively adjust industrial structure, and develop circular economy. He said the best solution to promote green development was based on the partnership with a state-owned enterprise like CECEP, and he looked forward to in-depth strategic cooperation with CECEP in more areas and the launch of large projects with greater perspectives. Mr. Wang expressed his congratulation for the success of the Green Fair. He stated that Qinghai’s green development philosophy well echoed major businesses of CECEP, and CECEP had introduced clean energy business to the Province and was actively working with enterprises of Qinghai in ecological control. In the next stage, CECEP would further discuss with Qinghai on in-depth cooperation and actively push forward project progress for mutual benefits.
Nowadays, CECEP’s Solar Energy Company is implementing the Phase I –III Xitieshan 50MW PV Synchronized Power Generation Project, and has started the Yeduo Separate 2.4 MW Golden Sun Rooftop PV Power Generation project. The Green Fair is of great significance for the Company’s expansion of advantageous resources and improvement of investment environment in Qinghai.
