CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd won the 2011 Italy Best Investor award at the award ceremony of the 6th China Awards in Milan, Italy in the evening of 24 November 2011.
China Awards was co-founded by Fondazione Italia Cina and Milan Financial Times and sponsored by Italy’s Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It aims at offering acknowledgement to the most active Chinese funded enterprises in Italy’s market and the most active Italian enterprises in China’s market. At this year’s award ceremony, only three Chinese enterprises got this award, the other two are the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the China General Technology Group.
250 representatives attended the award ceremony and a large number of the main Italian media organizations had live broadcast for it. All proceeds from the ceremony will be donated to the Chinese Foundation for Lifeline Express to offer treatment to cataract patients in the remote areas of China.
During the ceremony we had friendly talks with Umberto Vattani, chairman of the Fondazione Italia Cina. He spoke highly of and encouraged our investment in Italy and hoped that we would continue to make investment in Italy. In addition, he also introduced local enterprises to us for active cooperation.
