On December 4, 2014, CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Company) and the People’s Government of Gaolou Township of Weishan County (Shandong) signed the cooperation agreement on a 600 MW PV project at the Weishan (Beijing) Investment Environment Promotion Conference cum. Agreement Signing Ceremony held by the People’s Government of Weishan County.
Weishan County has abundant land resource and good investment environment. Relying on its advantages and the great strengths of the Company in funding and technologies, it can build a national demonstration county for new energy production and application. For this reason, both sides signed the agreement on the photovoltaic power generation project.
In accordance with the agreement, the project will have an installed capacity of 600 MW, with a total investment of RMB6 billion. The Phase I project with an installed capacity of 200 MW will be completed within three years. As planned, RMB500 million will be invested in 2015 to build a photovoltaic power plant with installed capacity of 50 MW. So far, the early-stage application for the project has begun, striving to realize grid-connected power generation by the end of December 2015.
Jiang Likai, deputy general manager of the Company, gave a speech at the agreement signing ceremony. Zhang Lei, director of Project Development Department of the Company, and Liu Chao, head of Gaolou Township, attended the ceremony. The project will promote the strategic layout and business development of the Company in Shandong province and give effective play to the cluster-based advantages.
