The international solar energy exhibition Intersolar was held in the new International Expo Centre in Munich, Germany from 8 to 10 June 2011. As China's largest PV power plant investor and operator, CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd participated in this exhibition. CECEP, National Energy Administration representatives, the Zhenjiang Company and our overseas operation department sent a group to participate in the exhibition.
The Munich Intersolar international Solar Energy Exhibition began in 1991 and has a history of 20 years. At present it has become the biggest and most influential professional solar energy exhibition fair in the world. The scale of this year's exhibition is unprecedented with over 2,200 exhibitors and more than 75,000 visitors. More than 400 Chinese PV companies participated in this year's exhibition.
Our company's booth, which was simple but elegant, was located in A3 pavilion. Our exhibits aimed at promoting our strategy of entering overseas market and expanding upstream and downstream industries as well as our brand image and strength. A large number of visitors were attracted to our booth. Leaders such as Chen Shuguang, vice general manager of CECEP, Cao Huabin, general manager of our company and Jiang Likai, general manager of CECEP Solar Energy Technology Zhenjaing went to the site to visit and offer guidance.
During the exhibition, our exhibition team had communication with many international system integrators and distributors in the photovoltaic industry on overseas investment projects and components marketing and explained our overseas strategy and development plan to potential partners and discussed about cooperation possibilities with them. Meanwhile, they also made some preparation for the sales channel building of the Zhenjiang Company’s energy-saving brand components. Company leaders had business talks with many leaders of partners. For example, Chen Shuguang and Cao Huabin had in-depth communication with Ken Hannah, executive vice president of MEMC and president of solar energy material department over co-production of silicon materials and silicon. Cao Huabin and Jiang Likai held talks with high level leaders of Poly Energy. Besides, leaders of many famous inverter manufacturers such as Green Power, Fronius,LTI and IDS also had talks with our leaders over inverter cooperation models. Our company will speed up our cooperation with renowned international photovoltaic companies so as to better utilize resources, make use of our strength and form key competitiveness in upstream and downstream industrial chain.
In addition, we also had in-depth communication with some internationally renowned PV power plant developers such as American SunEdision, German Scatec Solar, and Belgian Enfinity, Premier Power and ET Solar over our intent cooperation projects of co-investment and development in Europe, which helps make clear the direction of our investment in the PV market in Europe.
Overseas PV power plant investment and building of an international PV module industry base in Zhenjiang are the two main tasks for our company in 2011. We will actively respond to CECEP's development strategy of going out and build a positive corporate image of CECEP by seizing the development opportunities brought by this exhibition, strengthening cooperation with world-renowned enterprises, speeding up strategic plan of overseas investment and making unremitting efforts in building up our company into a world class photovoltaic enterprise.
